Jack only wanted to race his friend through the woods, but then his friend disappeared and Jack found himself in an unlikely situation. The dangers in the forest are real, as are the brave and strong fairy kin who show up at the right moment. If Jack had known about the bravery of this fabled kin, he might never have teased his classmates for believing in them.
