She has been a guest on numerous TV shows and has consulted for Fisher-Price, Blue's Clues, Young Einsteins, and Jim Henson Company. She writes for many blogs and magazines including Family Fun. Before becoming an award-winning author, MaryAnn taught primary grades and preschool in her hometown, Bellingham, Washington.
