A man goes looking for himself, but he does not like what he finds. Backpacking through Iceland, the aspiring artist has a sexual encounter with a Nordic woman. He leaves her the next day but soon finds himself grappling with the emptiness of being. In order to save his soul, he must find his self. Side by side, they engage in a 'chaoskampf', a mythical battle against the snake that holds both captive. Will the soul come to terms with the self? This novella is a work of literary fiction dealing with the question of what it means to be 'me'. It contains themes of sexuality, metaphysics, and existentialism.
