Janice Bridges was born in Rapid City, SD, but her parents moved to Jamaica afterwards. She has never seen the snow, or felt the cold. This Christmas the family chooses to spend in Rapid City. Will she freeze to death, or find warmth and romance from a friendly neighbor?

Mathis B. Rogers was born in Shamrock, Texas, and was raised all over the Texas Panhandle and South Plains of West Texas.
He began writing when he was thirteen and while working the Night Audit (graveyard shift) for motels, he was able to be very prolific. Mathis enjoys writing and when someone asks him how to write, he replies, "It's just daydreaming and writing it down."
Mathis was the webmaster and long-time member of the Plainview Writers Guild. He is now an active member of the Texas High Plains Writer's Group?formerly, Panhandle Professional Writer's group?in Amarillo, the Write Right Critique Group and the Caprock Writers & Illustrators Alliance, in Lubbock.
