Except all the "Politrickians" can seem to do is feed.
Padding their egos and satisfying their insatiable greed.
Corralling citizens of the country like herds of cattle.
Eliciting aide from clergymen in a high power (In God We Trust).
But struggle to do the right thing when we're in our darkest hour.
As we stand naked, alone shivering, and vulnerable like petals that were plucked off a delicate flower.
Do they love me, or do they love me not?
Dividing the country into two faction's nationalists and patriots.

Matthew E. Dale is a Jamaican American author of Written in Vampire's Blood: The Stranger. He's co-authored Just Another Hope-full Fool in Love, Bound by Honor, Betrayed by Trust and Politicks: It's All Political.
His love for writing increased from an early age when he told stories to his little brother to help him go to sleep. Writing sometimes kept him out of trouble. Especially growing up in the mean streets of Bronx, New York. As a creative, his passion for the arts glides across different forms of the medium, from drawing to reggae music (dancehall) to poetry. He can trace his ties to writing for his love of reading which spans different genres and authors. The most notable authors are Langston Hughes, Edgar Allen Poe, Maya Angelou, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Donald Goines.
