•PREVIOUS SUCCESS: The Adventures and Misadventures of the Extraordinary and Admirable Joan Orpi, Conquistador and Founder of New Catalonia received the Spain-USA Foundation Translation Award.
•BELOVED BY BOOKSELLERS: Jeremy Garber (Powell's) was one of many booksellers wowed by Besora's first novel to appear in English. A master of playful postmodernism, his works appeal to adventurous connoisseurs of books published by the likes of New Directions and Dalkey Archive.
•POTENTIAL TOUR: Sponsored by Spain-USA Foundation as part of winning the inaugural translation prize, Besora and Lethem will do several events across the U.S. to promote both of his novels.
