Medhaa Banaji is a sixteen-year-old girl who resides in Vienna, Virginia with her parents and two younger brothers. She had a passion for writing from a young age, and in fifth grade her teacher inspired her to write a book. She also took writing classes, and her writing teacher thought she was talented and encouraged her to keep writing. Medhaa began working on her book from the age of thirteen, and was motivated to keep writing. In her free time Medhaa enjoys reading, writing, singing, traveling, and film-making.
