This book utilizes the names of butterflies as acronyms and leads us to encounter the real-life dilemma of not just hearing Gods voice but also moving through the strugglethe metamorphosis that is necessary to live out His calling in our lives. The book is done in black and white to encourage the reader to interact with it, add to it, color it, and fill it with Gods personal voice as He speaks to you. Make it your own. The raw and candid emotion connected to anxiety and depression is real in this book as is the comforting warmth of Gods love when it is allowed to penetrate us. If something is holding you back from the thingwhatever it is that God has called you tothen this book is for you.

Vorwort
Let this book help you over the hurdle that holds you back; like Joyce Meyer's book, "Battlefield of the Mind" helped me overcome a lifelong pattern of negative thinking.

Autorentext

Melinda was a lonely, overweight teenager wishing for someone to talk to who might understand ugly secrets. Never finding that person she vows to become that confidant for someone in the future and at this time decides to become a counselor. Unfortunately, lack of direction and contrary life choices lead down a very different path. Trying to be a good parent and wife doesn't come naturally and many lessons are learned along the way. She eventually serves as a youth minister at a small church in Southern California and with the encouragement of her husband goes on to earn her masters degree in Marriage and Family counseling at Fuller Seminary. Always believing in God's love but struggling still with depression, anxiety and self defeating thought patterns she finally listens to His voice and shares her struggle. She has taken this step of faith in hopes of encouraging you to join her in learning to fly free.
