'How long's the locum?'
Unable to understand why Tony had asked, Sarah stared at him, and saw the silver eyes darken to a steely grey. She forced herself to breathe evenly, definitely not pant, for his eyes has darkened in just that way when they'd made love.
'A month. I've three more weeks,' she told him.
The smile this time was totally different? slow and seductive?but its effect was like a blowtorch as it scorched across her skin and sent more heat into her blood.
'And I've three days,' he said softly.
He reached out, drew her close, and kissed her firmly on the lips.
'Tomorrow,' he said, making the word a promise.
