Michael M. Clements is an autodidact polymath-or at least he plays one convincingly in real life. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of two leading Washington, D.C. magazines, performed on stage and screen in China and the U.S., exhibited outsider art, published illustrations, played in a band in Japan, and authored the poetry collection The Bali Paradigm. Liberty Abroad! continues his ongoing exploration of creativity, reinvention, and global living. As an entrepreneur, he founded Genki Media LLC, co-founded Creative Leisure Group-a Bali-based property and design company-and launched ArtJamz, an experiential arts venture he successfully exited. A devotee of spoken word for its blend of storytelling and performance, Michael blends humor, heart, and hard-earned wisdom across multiple media. Now based in Bali, he writes, speaks, and publishes for restless souls and creatives alike. When not creating, he can be found sipping matcha lattes, diving with sharks, or scootering his son to school (though never all at once).
