Michelle Brafman is a Washington, DC-based writer, teacher, and writing coach. She has received numerous awards for her fiction, including a Special Mention in the Pushcart Prize Anthology. Her work has appeared in Slate, Tablet, the Minnesota Review, Fifth Wednesday Journal, and numerous other publications. She also contributes to the Lilith blog and teaches fiction writing at the Johns Hopkins University MA in Writing Program.
