This book is about mosquitoes and the nefarious activities that resulted to malaria and death. A king makes a decree in order to prohibit noise making in his kingdom. He sends out his soldiers to arrest anyone caught in the act of making noise. The soldiers make some arrests, and they were all arraigned in the palace court. At the end, mosquitoes are linked to the original cause of the noise making. The king arraigns mosquitoes and sentences them to death. In a bid to kill mosquitoes with a sledgehammer, the king does more havoc of destruction in his palace. World bodies are invited to educate the people on best ways to eradicate mosquitoes and malaria.

Malaria is endemic in Nigeria and African sub-region. It has caused a lot of sicknesses and death in these places, especially among pregnant women and children.It is transmitted by mosquitoes.

Autorentext

The author is a young man who lived most of his life in Lagos Nigeria and also had a good orientation of the country side. He enjoys telling stories to children and teenagers, hence his choice to write for this category of people. He hails from Umuahia in the Eastern part Nigeria. He belongs to the Igbo tribe in Nigeria. He believes in re-enacting life with fictions. He is concerned about the problems caused by mosquitoes and malaria in Nigeria and the African sub-region. Having been a survivor of such upheaval, he uses this medium to voice out a clarion call for efforts in the right direction to eradicate mosquitoes and malaria.
