In the recent years significant number of advances have been made in all aspects of plant sciences and to bring the widely difference aspects under one cover is indeed a Herculean albeit subjective task. That is precisely what the effort of the editors has been in compiling Current Concepts in Botany, which is a collection of review articles as well as original research papers from contemporary fellow botanists from all over the world.
