This is a knitting pattern for a simple lace cap worked in the round. It uses about 130 yards (119M) fingering weight yarn on US 4 (3.5mm) needles at a gauge of about 8 stitches and 10 rows per inch (2.54 cm). The finished hat will fit a woman or larger child. The pattern includes written instructions and a stitch chart.
The pattern requires a set of double-point needles. A circular needle and eight stitch markers are optional.

In the course of years I've held a number of jobs (bookkeeper, sales clerk, computer network engineer) while trying to launch a career (jeweler, sculptor, knitter). In the process I've heard a lot of stories, read a lot of stories, and discovered I like to tell stories. My books were written "for fun". I hope you enjoy them
