Was born in Canada. His writing credits include stories for children and numerous scripts for stage and television. He is twice
the winner of the R. Ross Annett Award for Children's Literature, awarded by the Writers' Guild of Alberta. He serves as the
Pir-o-Murshid of the International Sü Movement, founded by Hazrat Inayat Khan, and travels widely, lecturing and leading spiritual retreats in many countries. Presently he lives with his wife in Norway.
