Neil is the author of several books in the horror genre. His first novel The Surgeon was described as 'gritty, fast-paced and nicely inventive.' The collection of horror shorts Don't Drink the Water also received critical acclaim, and his latest novel Nanobite has been called 'fang-tastic'.
Neil also writes fantasy fiction for children. He grew up in Yorkshire and spent almost two decades travelling the world as an engineer. He is married with two children and now lives in Scotland, a place that inspires a lot of his writing.
