Zek Stone has once again found himself lost within the sub-parallels of the Parallel "Shadow Earth", Aton 5, more refracted and alone than ever before, drowning within a psycho-dramatic mystery involving a whole gang of ghosts from his past. At the same time, his step-brother and the Porky Pig Club has it's dark past exposed during a series of grisly murders and the investigations that followed, within Aton 5.875, in 2025.

Neokon Lites in the Target Sites

Aton 5.875, 25/04/13:

Durkins reported into the DSA company's office and spoke directly to Gaulterton.

"What's the fuss?" Gaulterton said.

"Another victim," Durkins said, and handed him a portable tablet with a picture of a blond male in his late 50s or 60s.

"Same MO," he said. "Another wealthy playboy, and another PPC manager. Phil Wasonki. Blond male, medium to heavy build, 58, wealthy playboy."

"That makes 2 already this year," he said.

"Yes," Gaulterton said, handed the tablet back to Durkins, and went for some coffee in the back corner. He made a cup and took it to his desk in the other corner.

"Anything more?" he said, took a sip of the coffee, and sat down before the computer on his desk.

He activated the computer and logged in while Durkins spoke to him.

"Nothing much yet," he admitted, and went to fill his own cup. "The only thing that seems to mean anything is the fact that they're both wealthy playboys and PPC managers."

"Yes," Gaulterton agreed, and stared into the computer flat-screen.

"You might want to put your coffee down before you check out the pictures," Durkins said.

"That bad?" Gaulterton said, and looked at him.

"The word grisley would be putting it lightly," Durkins admitted. "We found his body chopped into so many pieces beside a lounge with a pina colada and a cell-phone on a table beside it. We found the head floating in the pool."

"Check out what was written on the living-room wall," he said.

"Gas-Liters Go 2 Hell?" he read.

He looked at Durkins and then back at the flat-screen and said, with wide eyes, "I think we have to face the fact that we're dealing with some kind of mad-man."

Autorentext

I was born in another parallel of Earth just a few years before John Kennedy was assassinated and I was transferred to this parallel after a motorcycle accident in late 1982. After 3 years of homelessness, I was inspired to become a science-fiction writer and committed myself to the task once I had managed to find a job and a place to plug in a typewriter. I worked on the job like a good robot for 10 years while writing science-fiction on my free time.

After failing to get any books published due to a low demand (every publisher explained how they were selling less books every year), I decided to get into small-publishing and accessed the local copy-outlet to publish my own books. But I didn't have enough money to print more than a handful at a time, and almost no one was interested in buying any of it.

It wasn't until 2004, after I managed to save enough money for a new computer, that I began to make some real progress. I was able to do a much better job with book-making and the quality of my books improved. But still they did not sell, so I simply small-published them at my own website online and offered them for free through the website. The website was up until 2008, when I lost my apartment and spent some time homeless again.

Aside from writing science-fiction, I started working with 2d computer graphics and animation in late 2004, and got into 3d computer graphics and animation in 2009, after finding another apartment. I've been working with 3d computer graphics, trying to go somewhere there, but I've had problems paying for the software.

I wrote "Fool's Errand: Redemption" as the last book in the Temspace-Variant Series in 2015 and turned it into an ebook in 2017. Because I am also a 3d computer graphics artist, I decided to try my hands at my first ebook cover and produced the cover for "Fool's Errand: Redemption" to go with it.
