This guidebook has been written for travellers intending to visit the 88 temples of the Shikoku pilgrimage or even walk the entire pilgrimage.

In addition to the history of the temples, it covers in detail the routes between the temples, provides additional information on how to prepare and organise the pilgrimage and adds cultural and historic background.

Oliver Dunskus was born 1962 in Paris and grew up in France, Japan and Germany. He completed the Shikoku pilgrimage several times and returns every year. He lives in Dusseldorf, Germany.
