The book depicts latest development on the spread of Maoism or say Naxalism, particularly in the four states of India. It suggests a few corrective measures to lessen or at least contain the Maoists' influence which is poses a serious threat to internal security by making a vice like grip in our country. The Central and the State governments effective policies and the methodical action of state Police and Para-military forces would surely play an important role in reducing or eliminating the negative impact of the Naxal-infested areas, if their genuine demands and grievances address through proper talks in a systematic way.
