Autorentext

Patricia was born in Surrey, England and lived there until almost 9 years old before moving north to Harrogate, North Yorkshire (then the West Riding). She went to school in Harrogate for 'O' Levels and then to a convent school in Leeds to complete her 'A' Levels.Following her school eduction Patricia went to secretarial college in Harrogate, 'on the orders of my dear papa 'shorthand/typing and book keeping will always come in useful dear." After that she worked in private industry for a few years, mostly for Financial Directors and then went off to train as a primary school teacher at Leeds Beckett Park.'After a while I found mainstream teaching wasn't for me and I went to work with adults with learning difficulties. I stayed in this field for a number of years and then after I married, went off to live on a smallholding high up in the Durham Dales.Much as I loved our home and Holding, the weather could be a bit severe at times and so we 'upped sticks' and bought a smallholding in south-west France. We had a wonderful time there, but eventually felt the pull of home and so returned to the UK.We now live in south-west Scotland, a very beautiful area. I am writing full-time and trying to build a new career for myself. I have just embarked on novel No. 2, with synopses for a further 3 waiting in the wings. They should keep me out of mischief.'
