Another youngster is relentless in his pursuit of the gift his grandmother promised him if he made it to high school. An eight-grade boy's classmates mock him for having long legs. The boy put his legs to use when he outruns another boy and stops him from stealing food from the people in the community. A boy is good at many sports except swimming. When his class upcoming swimming trip nears, he decides he must learn how to swim. A boy witnessed a bully robbing a girl and running away. When a police officer shows up, the boy takes off because he fears telling on a bully. When he hears, on TV, that he is the suspect and not the bully, he knows he has to go to the police.
