They Meant to Kill Me is a gripping memoir of missionary Paul Lehmann's extraordinary journey of faith, survival, and unwavering trust in God's call.

From near-death experiences in the U.S. to harrowing encounters in the heart of Africa, Paul recounts moments when his life hung in the balance-but God's grace always prevailed. Serving for over two decades in the Democratic Republic of Congo with The Christian and Missionary Alliance, Paul faced violence, spiritual warfare, and the relentless opposition of those who meant to silence him. Yet, every trial became a testimony to God's protection and purpose.

This book is more than a missionary story-it's a declaration that no curse, enemy, or hardship can overcome the life surrendered to Christ. Honest, powerful, and inspiring, They Meant to Kill Me will stir your faith and remind you that we are invincible until God's work in us is done.
