Penny Chrimes is the author of middle grade books WILDER, TIGER HEART, THE DRAGON AND HER BOY and MOONSHIFTER (ORION/HACHETTE). She is also the author of numerous picture books under the name Penny McKinley. Chrimes has had a long career as a journalist and scripts the BAKER STREET FOUR series of dramatized podcasts for children. Originally from the Wirral, Penny now lives in south-east London.
