Six friends, three men and three women, travel to a mountain resort for a long weekend of fun. They enjoy the setting and each other's company until one of them is murdered.

Detective Hank Rockwell leads the investigation. He is joined by a female detective who has not been on a murder case before.

After talking to the five survivors, the detectives come across information of the victim which links the parents to a prior murder.
