Richard F Crawley III grew up in Putnam, Illinois as the oldest of nine children. Sports, books and siblings filled his life then. Today, his life is filled with family and long distance running. When he is not working for Illinois Central College, he is often found running in the countryside on the roads that he has run for much of his life. Occasionally, he finds a story within the miles.
This is the first of those stories.
