Mr. Mayer has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry where he specializes in advising high net worth individuals and in developing executive compensation plans. He is the chairman of an insurance company in Bermuda. He is considered a leading expert in variable annuities and has pioneered the development of private placement variable life insurance. Mr. Mayer has designed the executive benefit plans of thirteen FORTUNE 500 companies. Mr. Mayer was an infantry captain during the Korean War where he was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor. He attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
