When Milo first saw Mrs. Parks, he somehow knew his life would never be the same. The beautiful dark-haired widow was beyond enchanting, and her curvy body made his hands shake when she walked into a room. How was he going to keep it together long enough to finish the months-long job at her home? The way she smiled when he looked at her made it clear she knew what he was thinking.

Sofie paused and took a bite of her meal, which was the best cordon bleu Milo had ever had, and then pointed at him with her fork. "I've decided that you are going to drive me to work and pick me up in the mornings from now on. This way you always have a vehicle for moving these things for me. It's a Suburban, so there's plenty of room."
Milo blinked at the lovely woman who was dressed for bed, in a similar nightgown to the one she had worn a few days ago. It revealed a country mile of cleavage, and it required all his discipline to keep his eyes on her face. "But you work at night and I'll be working mostly during the day when the post office is open."
Her matter-of-fact look told him that her decision had been made. "I know. But it would make me happy." Her eyes grabbed him. "Don't you want to make me happy?" She asked with a mischievous smile.
He couldn't nod fast enough. After everything she was doing for him, he wanted to make her the happiest she'd ever been. "Yes, ma'am!"
After lunch Milo helped her clean up, and then she turned and took Milo by the hand, smiling. "I'm tired. Come tuck me into bed," she asked, and Milo's heart skipped a dozen beats. He hadn't been in Sofie's bedroom since his first bath, and the things he'd dreamed of doing with her in that enormous bed made his hands tremble to think about.
"Tuck ... tuck you in?" he stammered.
"Yep. Sometimes it's hard to fall asleep in the afternoon. Come tuck me in," she said and pulled his arm hard enough that he had no option but to fall in behind her. She led him through the house and into her bedroom, then released his hand and turned towards the bathroom. "Turn down the bed, won't you?" she asked and left Milo staring at her generous ass moving beneath the nightgown.
He pulled the coverlet down to the foot of the bed and then peeled the sheet down and waited, hearing Sofie performing her ablutions before bed. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail as she stepped out, and she walked right up to him. "I'd like to work with you on your sleep issues. I want to make my home a place where you feel safe. I can take care of you, and you can take care of me."
He bit his bottom lip with uncertainty and looked up into Sofie's dark eyes and saw nothing but sincerity, which was nearly unknown to him. Outside the service, there had been no one he could count on. "Why? I'm just a guy here to do a job."
Sofie reached and stroked his face softly. "Well, because I'm a nurse. Helping people is part of who I am. I've always had a soft spot for a hard luck story, and my father was a vet. Neither you nor he deserved what you got." She looked into his eyes and smiled. "I think we can help one another."
He looked at her uncertainly. What did she need help with? Aside from the enormous job that was ahead of him? He was about to ask when she leaned down and kissed him. This time it wasn't a quick peck, and he responded in kind, his hands finding her hips ever-so gently.
When she broke the kiss, her eyes were closed, and she sighed deeply. "Goodnight, Milo. Don't forget you're dropping me off at work tonight."
"Goodnight, ma'am. I won't."
