It is time! The final fight against the Beast is brewing, but do the Mystic Brats stand a chance? After Nara Roman sacrificed herself to stop Osiris, the demonic spirit of Sir Lancelot was able claim the Spear of Destiny and used it to gravely injure Kirk Louis. With the spear, Lancelot seems unbeatable, and that was before he resurrected Queen Guinevere inside Nara's dead body. Now, Jason Gardner must uncover answers to his mysterious grandfather's past in order to figure out Lancelot's endgame. Julie Brooks, meanwhile, is having to face her own family's dark legacy, by being reunited with her absentee mother - Andrea Brooks. Not to mention, a deadly injury that may or may not permanently remove her long term memories. Kevin Tyson is going through his own type of demented therapy as well, since he and Julius Quale are searching for his ex-fiancé, who happens to be the Arian knight's sister. And Barry Dickenson is on a quest to reclaim his surrogate family's trust after succumbing to Osiris's control, which is what caused Nara's death. But what will happen, when these teens discover that the key to slaying the Beast revolves around three trinities of ancient power? Three all-powerful dragons. The Books of the Damned. Then, finally, the most powerful trinity of all: the Spear of Destiny, the Lunar Necklace, and the Sword in the Stone. Join our young heroes in the epic conclusion to the first of three trilogies in the Mystic Brat Journals series. Because after this one, everything changes and nothing will ever be the same again.
