Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, Robert Paul Schmidt earned his undergraduate degree in English at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Sixteen years later, he earned his master's degree in Literature and Writing at Cal State San Marcos. He lives and works in San Diego.
