Robert teaches English Language at university. He has taught in primary and secondary schools and has been a principal of both. He has been a school counsellor and an Education Officer. Robert holds a PhD from the University of Otago. At various times he has been a postman, a rural delivery driver, a bus driver, a forestry worker, and a real estate salesperson.
