Some of these poems are inspired by places I have visited and people I have met along the way. Other poems describe my own perosnal victories and struggles. I find that the more personal ones have been the hardest to write but I have included some in this book.

I live in Porirua, New Zealand and work in another city as an electronic technician. I have enjoyed rhyming poetry since I was a young boy when my mum used to recite rhyming poetry to me that she had learned at school. I enjoy walking and running on all the seaside and bush trails here in Porirua and the surrounding cities. My favourite place to run is on the beach which thankfully New Zealand has plenty of. I belong to the Aurora Harrier club and have also joined a horticultural society with the aim of being an amazing gardener like my mum and dad were - I have a long way to go but I enjoy it none-the-less.
