Beth Goldworthy and her team are engaged by an insurance company to investigate a murder. Two people will receive a huge payout from the life insurance policy, but neither seem to be the type to commit murder. Beth and her team must establish their innocence before the insurance will pay.

They work with the police to come across others who may not benefit financially from the murder but have serious grudges. Could it simply be a case of revenge. One has a history of violence and still another is an organised crime boss. Then a mysterious file is discovered which has links to underworld figures in another state.

A weapon involved in the investigation has been used before in a drug gang killing. The possibilities grow but no clear suspect emerges, until Beth makes a discovery that makes the investigation suddenly a whole lot more dangerous.

Autorentext

Russell Brandon is a grandfather who lives near Brisbane in Australia. He has written plenty of business proposals, training materials, industry submissions and reports. One day he looked at the world and said, "This is not the world I want for my grandchildren". Night after night, the News is full of violence and hatred. It was violence against women and children in particular that gave Russell a heavy heart.

He believes the Bible holds the secret to a better world. So he wanted to use the writing skills he picked up over the years to compose a little piece of fiction. It was to be a tale that would help his grandchildren understand the joy of living a life that follows the example that Jesus set.

So "A Rainbow in my Heart" became a reality and Russell has since completed more books.
