This novel is about a true crime that takes place the first year a new sheriff has been elected. Elected for three terms of four years each. The sheriff's wife causes the crime, the sheriff goes onto be elected three terms, twelve years in office. This cold case was hidden for more than forty years. However there was a witness to the aftermaths of murder and the fatal night in question. It was the sheriff's fifteen year old daughter, but no one asked her in 1973. Now she can tell everything that puts all those horrors to be heard in the open. A new day dawns.
