I had a difficult choice to make.

Was it going to be worth my while to chase down this unlikely family connection, or would it be a time-wasting, wild goose chase?

Were there ghosts in my past, beyond the ones I was aware of, that might pop up and scare the life out of me, or could it possibly be time well spent?
