Samuel "Sammy" Deutscher received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Sammy is a volunteer reading tutor with the Palm Beach Literacy coalition and likes to coach youth soccer. About the illustrator: Tina C. Wood has been an artist beginning the age of four in Slovenia. By age fourteen she was enrolled in art school. The illustrations in this book were done entirely by Tina from her own photos.
