Ruth and her daughter Sarah, reconnect after years of being distant. Sarah is a workaholic and resents any disruption to her routine. Ruth, a widow, tricks her daughter into taking a whirlwind trip with her to some favorite places. Sarah discovers that Ruth is funny, irreverent and tremendous fun. Sarah slowly realizes that she and her mother have a bond she never imagined.
