Follow Mum and the narrator as we get to grips with the Neapolitan rail system, walk until our feet give up and visit archaeological sites and volcanoes in Naples and around Campania. Now permanently retired, I am using my time wisely by doing what I did at work and sitting at a computer all day typing.

I retired from work the first time to pursue a dream of travelling. I sold my house and spent eighteen months criss- crossing the world, eventually circumnavigating the globe. I got back homeless and decided to settle down in Carlisle, Cumbria. Came out of retirement to fund my new mortgage and retired again four years later.

I wrote a book about my travels but it came in at over a quarter of a million words so I was told it was far too long so now I write shorter books. Hopefully, dear reader, you will enjoy my meanderings through family stories.
