This book is the narrative of the author's thoughts, emotions, and mental survival of motherhood from the birth of her son through the first five years of his life. She talks about the things others don't, such as dealing with department store tantrums and the inevitable feeling of being a failure as a mother, as well as the joy a child brings to your life.

Vorwort
The baby phase is so short and we must laugh and enjoy it for what it is. Erma Bombeck's writing style was my inspiration.
