Shiguang Liu is a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, College of Intelligence and Computing at Tianjin University, P.R. China. He received a Ph.D. from the State Key Lab of CAD & CG, Zhejiang University, P.R. China. He was a visiting scholar at Michigan State University from 2010 to 2011. He was also a research associate professor at CUHK and KAIST in 2012 and 2013, respectively. His research interests include computer graphics, image & video editing, visualization, virtual reality, etc. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers in ACM TOG, IEEE TVCG, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, ACM TOMM, ACM SIGGRAPH, IEEE VR, ACM MM, IEEE ICME, etc. He is on the editorial board of the journals Signal, Image and Video Processing, Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds, and Virtual Reality.
