Born in 1993, Somali Mukherjee nurtures a profound passion for writing creative pieces from a very tender age of hers. Besides writing poems, she, oftentimes, likes to express her train of thoughts and emotions by writing short stories, essays and lyrics and so on and so forth. Apart from that, she is a zealous lover of music and of fine arts. She is working as an author-cum-editor for a publication house in Kolkata, India at present.

A few other books authored by her are 'Head and Heart: A collection of poems', 'A Prosaic Omnibus', 'My Little World' and 'An Album of Various Moments: An Anthology'.
