Two ancient beings create a new star to make themselves worthy in the eyes of their ancestors...

The curator of the oldest museum in the galaxy finds out the truth behind its most famous exhibit...

These are just a few of the tales that await you in Racing the Storm and Other Stories, a collection of thirteen short science fiction stories - some thought-provoking, some poignant, some just plain weird.

Autorentext

Steven J Pemberton writes intelligent and witty fantasy for children, teenagers and adults, or as he puts it, "anyone old enough to understand."

He was born in England in 1970, the son of a librarian and a teacher, so it was probably inevitable that he would grow up loving books. For most of his childhood, he and his family lived in New Zealand, returning to England in 1981. He graduated from the University of York in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in computer science. He now lives in Hertfordshire with his partner, where he works as a software developer.
