Ashlyn 'Ash' Doyle has spent the last five years trying to come to terms with the loss of her beloved hammer Mjölnir after defying the Fates and journeying into the past to save her future. No longer a goddess, Ash is trying to focus on being an Agent of the Paranormal Investigations Team and solving supernatural related crimes but she's also dealing with a sociopath for a mate, and would like nothing more than to break the bond between her and Fenrir.
Fenrir was once bound inside a cave because Odin feared him, but now he is bound by the bond that ties him and Ashlyn. He does not understand emotion, however the bond forces him to feel things from his mate that confuse him. While Ashlyn searches for a way to break the bond, Fenrir will stop at nothing to prove to her that their bond is unbreakable.
Now werewolves are being murdered, and personal tragedy strikes, forcing Ash and Fenrir to work together to hunt down a killer. The physical attraction between them has never been the problem, but Ash and Fenrir will need to push their emotional issues aside to focus on the killer and beware the wolf
