In the bustling heart of New York City, amidst the towering skyscrapers and the ceaseless hum of urban life, there lived a woman whose soul was tethered to the natural world, Pauline Davis. Her tiny apartment, a veritable menagerie, was a sanctuary overflowing with the chirps of caged birds, the verdant embrace of potted plants, and the playful antics of cats and dogs. With all this, she was still lonely and yearning for human companionship. She longed for more space, so she engaged the services of a marriage broker and eventually, traveld west to a rancher with a homestead in Northern California. Many adventures waited for her, but especially, the chance of love.

I was born in England, but have lived in Southern California for many years. I m now retired and live in the Pacific NW in a little seaside city amongst the giant redwoods and wonderful harbor, almost at the Oregon border. My husband and I have one cat, called Midnight and she is featured in two of my latest Sci-Fi short stories. I love Science Fiction, animals, and trying to help others.
