Autorentext
Talhí was born in Chile and grew up in Montréal, Canada. Writer, artist, and graphic designer, she has many projects behind and even more in front of her. Her first novel, Hieroglyphs - The Celestial Conspiracies, was published in French by Québec-Amérique in 2018. It's an epic fantasy retelling of Exodus, where mythologies mix in ancient Egypt. She's the artist and the co-author behind Emmanuel Just Wants to Die (published in French by Glénat Québec, 2020), a comic about depression and cute body-snatching ghosts. Her second novel, Mrs. Victoria buys a Brothel, was published by Renaissance Press in 2025.Talhí does her best to make her works diverse, trying to create the things she wanted to read when she was younger. She works at home with two birds who keep walking over the keyboard and add typos when she tries to write.
