Terry Stavridis was born in Cairo, Egypt to Greek parents and migrated with them in Australia. He has also lived in Portland, Oregon.

He is an academic/ author/ historian/ public speaker and freelance writer. He is the author of several books and contributing book chapters in modern Greek history. Terry has lectured at universities and community college levels in Australia and the US.
