Ignorance is bliss-until the truth threatens to destroy everything.

In order to escape the lingering bad press associated with a culinary incident in his youth, Chef Logan moves from LA to the mountain community of Payson, Arizona. In doing so, he meets the girl responsible for the large scar across his abdomen. Although their chemistry is real, he doesn't want to ruin their chances at having a future by divulging the truth.

As reporter K.C. Reynolds falls for the handsome chef she is writing a newspaper series about, she knows that being upfront about her tragic culinary past is the only way to create a lasting relationship, but honesty isn't always easy.

Although they share the tragedy that binds their past, the more time they spend together, the more they fall in love, and the harder it is for either to tell the truth.
