Charlie, a long-haired Collie (a Lassie dog) and his owner Tom complete Pet Therapy Training to become a Therapy Team to visit people and make them happy.

Tom is a retired Middle School Teacher and a retired U.S. Army veteran. He served as both an enlisted man, attaining the rank of Sergeant and as an Officer, attaining the rank of Captain. He retired from the Army on 1 September 1996 and took early retirement from teaching on 1 September 2013. He and Charlie lived in New Jersey when this book was written. Tom and Charlie currently live in Cape Coral, Florida. They provide Therapy visits to numerous places.
