Reunited with his clan the boy and his clan are enduring a rough winter they travel to the southern lower altitudes where he is discovered by a Search and Rescue Team.

He separates from the clan and eventually finds them at the mine they sometimes use. Irene his mate convinces him that she wants to meet his family. Will she or will she back out?
