The Littlest Bell in town hangs in the fire station window, but being so small, no one ever takes poor little Benny's rings seriously. The serious dangers are often rung out by "Big Bell" in the firehouse steeple. Across the way, are the "Church Bells" which make the pleasant music in the town. What Benny really dreams about is being the schoolhouse bell. On one particular day an event occurs which changes little Benny's fate forever.
