The author, a father of two, is a retired navy vet currently employed manufacturing fly fishing reels at Mako Reels. The author enjoys playing bass guitar, cooking, and writing poetry in his leisure time. The author also is a strong advocate for animal protection, volunteers at the local animal shelters, and has adopted and taken in half a dozen of shelter and stray felines.
